Four killed in Burundi attacks
Grenade attacks near Burundi’s capital, Bujumbura, and a northern town close to President Pierre Nkurunziza’s home village killed four people, police said, as parliamentary elections and a presidential vote approach.
A grenade attack on a bar in Ngozi town, north of Bujumbura, killed four people and wounded 27, while a blast in the town of Kirundo near a bank wounded one person, police spokesperson Pierre Nkurikiye said.
