Beverages and food income up

INCOME from food and beverages rose 8.1 percent in April this year compared with April 2014, with take-away and fast-food outlets showing the largest growth at 13.3 percent, Statistics SA said yesterday. Restaurants and coffee shops showed growth of 5.1 percent, as did catering services. Food and beverages income for the three months to April grew 8.1 percent compared with last year. – ANA
