DID you love the Madiba jive? Then get your dancing shoes on this weekend to celebrate Mandela Day tomorrow.
Madiba’s love for dance was also one of his signature traits that made him so popular. And now you can keep Mandela’s memory alive by being part of the world’s biggest Madiba jive tribute.
You can visit Madibajive.com and make a small donation to receive a 67-minute music mix. You can then upload a video of yourself doing the famous move to this backing track. The clip will be used as part of a huge global series of Madiba Shuffle videos and the money will go to the Nelson Mandela Foundation and No Danger Diaries’ causes.
Event organiser Daniel Becker said the plan is to create a mash-up of all uploaded videos.
