Mahlodi Muofhe, a special advisor to Ramatlhodi, said the industry agreed to work closely with the Department of Mineral Resources to re-skill employees to enable them to become competitive in the event of job losses, according to the ministry. In addition, a plan to rehabilitate mines would be explored to stimulate economic activities and job creation.
