Women’s Day concert, Divas Unite, will be hosted at the Cape Town City Hall on Sunday. Artists including Zolani Mahola of Freshlyground and doyenne of song Judy Page and her equally famous daughter Kim Kallie will perform.
The Artscape Theatre will host a celebration of women in the Women’s Humanity Arts Fest with theatre productions, educational workshops, film screenings, talks and exhibitions from August 6 to 9. As part of the Pink Drive, guests can also have breast examinations. Guests can enjoy interactive art, opera, fashion shows, dance performances in aid of the Cancer Association of South Africa as the Ambienz Bespoke Concierge hosts a Fashion, Flavours & Art evening at the Shimmy Beach Club. Tickets are R450 a person.
