‘Department will keep clean bill’

The auditor-general has given the Department of Trade and Industry and some its entities a clean audit for the 2014/15 financial year.

Speaking at a function hosted by the Auditor-General in Pretoria on Friday to recognise outstanding government departments, Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies said the department would attempt to maintain its clean audit status.

He said his department had instilled a culture of “continuous improvement” and that it planned to implement additional innovative processes.
