Coalition jets kill Syrian soldiers

The Syrian Foreign Ministry said US-led coalition warplanes targeted a military camp, killing three of its soldiers and injuring 13. The jets struck the camp in the north-western province of Deir al-Zour, the Foreign Ministry said yesterday, condemning the attack as “blatant aggression”.

If confirmed, the attack would be the first against President Bashar al-Assad’s forces since the US-led air campaign started more than a year ago.
