New school for Nomzamo pupils
More than 1 000 Western Cape pupils in Nomzamo near Strand settlement are set to start 2016 in a brand new school, Department of Transport and Public Works spokesperson Byron la Hoe said yesterday
“The new ACJ Phakade Primary School in Nomzamo near Strand will open its doors in the 2016 academic year,” he said.
Commissioned by the department for the province’s Education Department, construction on the primary school began in January 2014. It cost R37 million and would be able to accommodate 1 250 pupils.
