Give me Hlaudi’s job

- Felicity Bhongwa Cape Town

WHAT if I go to court and demand that SABC employs me as its chief executive because I have an Honours degree in media studies, a diploma in marketing and seven years’ experience as junior lecturer at a well-known private college, 11 years in a media agency and nine years as co-partner in my company in branding and market research?

The sober Judge Dennis Davies ruled that appointment of Hlaudi Motsoeneng was unlawful in the Western Cape High Court. Minister Faith Muthambi and SABC will use public funds to appeal the ruling.

As a taxpayer, I pay Motsoeneng over R2 million a year, but he does not have the qualifications I possess.

The decision by Muthambi and SABC means that academic fraudsters are encouraged to lie as long as President Zuma backs you, and Cyril Ramaphosa is scared to speak out. If he is ambitious to succeed our leader of flops, gaffes and giggles, he must break ranks with Zuma and Muthambi. Government does not have money to fund students, but has to pay izinduna and legal appeals.

Even if I get this job, do I deserve to be paid R2m a year? If I take it, I will fund three students who will do communication and media studies. Ellen Tshabalala, who is connected to Number

One, must be awarded a Nazi Goebbels medal for lying about her qualifications. The patron of this award must be Pallo Jordan and Mohau Pheko. I deserve Hlaudi’s post, I do qualify.
