One small deed can brighten someone’s day a lot

- Amahn Heuvel and Ameera Kazie Allie Rock Girl

DID you know that it’s the last the day of activism, or did you even know that there was 16 days of activism?

You’re probably busy working or enjoying life and preparing wonderful things for these holidays, but if you would love to feel good about yourself, then try donating.

Do something great. We guarantee that it makes you feel good when you make someone else’s day, or when your good deed has made a life-changing impact on someone else. You might think that the world is too dysfunctional to try and change it, but there are little things that you can do to help.

Think about the children that don’t have proper resources at school and some who does not have education. Poverty is indeed everywhere, but it does not necessarily have to be that way for everyone.

If we think about food, we have a craving for it when we are hungry .

Now what about those who don’t have food and are starving.

For those who think someone else is better off than they are, remember that there is always someone who is less fortunate than you are.

Some people could only imagine and crave one meal a day and yet we don’t seem willing to donate and we justify it to ourselves by saying feeding someone once a day doesn’t mean they won’t starve the rest of the day.

Just think, do we really care about those needy people or do we just act that way because we don’t want to seem shallow?

How can we show that we actually care? We can simply start by donating a few basic needs such as: Food (canned, fruit, affordable healthy foods etc.) shoes, clothes, pillows, toiletries, tissues, booster tablets. Anything safe to use is valuable to them and they will definitely have a broad smile on their face due to your kindness.

Remember donating to the poor won’t always be a sign of your kindness, just giving a warm smile or a helping hand or being kind will fulfil their day.
