Whites loved Madiba

- Mike Taylor Kenilworth

POOR Yonela Diko must be getting old, in explaining why he could not support the Save SA campaign. He cites the whites’ built-in prejudice against South African presidents but completely forgets Nelson Mandela.

Madiba stayed true to his famous speech at the Treason Trial when he said he did not believe in white domination over blacks or black domination over whites.

He was prepared to deal with anyone as long as they were not corrupt and it was in the best interests of his people.

I have never met a white person who had a bad word to say about Madiba. The only regret was that he was not a younger man.
