Join the Cape 2 Kyalami ride
Take a ‘long way up’ trip to the SA Bike Festival in Jozi
IF YOU enjoy riding the long way round, or the long way down, here’s something to tickle your two-wheel fancy.
Join South Africa Bike Festival for an epic “long way up” adventure from Cape Town to the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from Monday 22nd to Saturday 27th of May.
This motorcycling experience is open to riders of any motorcycle with an engine capacity of at least 650cc. The tour cost is R9800 per rider and R8500 per pillion and includes dinner, bed and breakfast from May 22-27 (with lunch and fuel being for each rider’s account).
The package also includes VIP entry into the South Africa Bike Festival, powered by Discovery Channel, on the Friday and Saturday (May 26 and 27).
Friday evening’s programme includes the Monster Energy Flight Night FMX Stunt Show. On the Saturday, tour participants will have the all-inclusive Sky Lounge tickets which include five meal vouchers and complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks all day.
Adventure Ride Outs will be available over the surrounding lands neighboring the circuit for those who prefer an off-road experience. Test ride the 2km course on adventure motorcycles from Honda, Suzuki, KTM, Yamaha, Polaris and Linhai.
Circuit Test Rides are available at additional cost for each tour participant.
For touring enthusiasts, the BMW Motorrad Off-road Skills Course will be in action all weekend, where visitors can test the new models around a short course, free of charge.
Organisers of the Cape 2 Kyalami tour have arranged a deal with South African Airways to get participants home as well as a deal through GS Africa for a one-way motorcycle rental if you don’t have your own, or to freight your motorcycle from Johannesburg back to the Mother City so you don’t need to do the trip twice.
