Coalition change in Plettenberg, ANC out, DA on board
Serving the people of Bitou was the number one priority for the town’s newly established council, after a month of uncertainty following coalition change in the coastal holiday town of Plettenberg Bay.
Changes in terms of executive positions within the council were made official during a special council meeting in Plettenberg Bay this week.
This, after a decision by the Active United Front (AUF), to terminate its coalition with the ANC and forge one with the DA.
The initial coalition came to an end in April after the AUF claimed that there had been several issues between the two parties, including that the ANC had frustrated attempts to establish clean administration.
