Replace brass taps

-

WE RETURNED from a short holiday to find thieves had stolen the brass water tap from just outside our garage.

But for the swift action by our neighbour who turned down the water pressure the waste of 13 000kls of precious water would have been much higher.

Any residents who have brass water taps that are accessible from a public area should think about either replacing them with plastic taps or better still, while water restrictions are in force, have them capped off as we have now done. John Perryman Claremont
