Noah, Theron top of the class
SOUTH African Hollywood star Charlize Theron and Today Show host comedian Trevor Noah brought some inspiration home when they paid a visit to Oaklands High School in Lansdowne yesterday.
The visit was part of a Life Choices initiative, an organisation which works with youth to tackle inequality.
Noah took to Facebook to share his excitement, featuring a picture of him and Theron with the kids in the background.
“Thank you Oaklands High and Life Choices for giving us an opportunity to be part of something so amazing.
“To see how much better a person’s life can be if we just invest in people at a young age is inspiring and eye opening,” he posted.
Noah and Theron were joined by American comedian and actress Chelsea Handler in classroom activities.
Noah continued: “Joined by the coolest teacher Nkosana in the most fun classroom, learning things I wish I had learned about in school.
“At the end of the lesson they end with an African Haka.”
