THIS COMING week investors will concentrat­e on South Africa’s production price inflation (PPI), money supply and credit financing data and the latest balance of trade numbers. Globally most countries will release their latest inflation rate data and figures for housing, retail sales, and manufactur­ing and production data. The US and the UK will also publish their final data on GDP economic growth for Q2.

Thursday, September 28: StatsSA will release the PPI figure for August. Friday, September 29: The Reserve Bank will publish the M3 money supply and private sector credit data for August. The Department of Customs will release the latest Balance of Trade numbers.
