When logic is absent

I CONCUR with our frustrated Johannesburg visitor Alistair Brown (Traffic blunders – Tuesday, December 12). December is our busiest month and not the best time to work on the Beach Road, Sea Point.

However if it was unavoidable, a better idea would have been overnight crews, working from 11pm to 6am, when roads are not so overcrowded.

This is common sense and I would hope the city plans better in future. Pamela Koonin Sea Point
