Killer dance moves with beauty, brains, talent

-

RAPID Blue’s Kee-Leen Irvine is a doyenne when it comes to producing reality TV.

She’s proven her Midas touch with Strictly Come

Dancing and So You Think You Can Dance among a host of other genres. Irvine said: “Having produced so many of the world’s premium entertainment formats, Dancing With The Stars really is right up there as my favourite. Gorgeous celebrities performing killer dance moves, in spectacular costumes, to great music performed by a live band, with brilliant lighting, this show is a veritable feast for the senses.”

Shooting will begin soon and the first of 12 episodes airs from February 4 next year.

As for what she is looking for from the celebrities in this show, she said: “While

Dancing With The Stars is both thrilling and terrifying for them, I would love them to come in with an open mind, a willingness to be stretched beyond their comfort zone and to take the competition seriously, but not themselves.

“With the right approach they will come away from this series with new skills, forged new friendships and really learnt a whole lot more about themselves.

“So many of us grew up with Ouboet as part of our lives, but even more than that, Frank Opperman is an absolute legend, he is a national treasure in the television, film and stage landscape and I could not believe my luck when he agreed to participate.

“I did a happy dance when he said yes! I’ve had my eye on Thembisa for a long time A killer package of beauty, brains and talent, and a firm favourite with viewers.”
