Politicians shameful

-

FOR those of you who still watch the circus that is our parliaments (national and provincial) – yes those people shouting and screaming at each other like a bunch of crèche kids would be the management of our country – it is sad and rather pathetic.

Do yourself a favour and turn down the volume and have a good look at the shape and sizes of our parliamentarians – you can literally count the amount of healthy, skinny ministers on one hand. The rest are all fat and overweight, enjoying the bounties of the seats their are occupying I am sure. One would also notice the expensive suits, dresses, watches and jewellery. Truly a sad state of affairs if this is what the so-called leaders of our country have to offer, clearly serving themselves from the public trough.

Ministers, please have a good long, hard look at yourselves in the mirror and if you feel embarrassed, you should be. Please don’t think that your citizens are blind to what you are projecting. It’s time to show real leadership, get off your fat, wealthy backsides and start serving the beautiful people of this country and not your own self-interest and greed. Gustav Lindemann Cape Town
