A sacrificial sheep?

-

IT’S GOING to be interesting to see how the Shaun Abrahams saga is handled.

Suddenly Shaun the Sheep, who is about to be sheared and shaved, will get some wolf teeth and begin to growl, but it is a bit too late.

As they say, a day late and a dollar short.

President Zuma, are you going to save your sacrificial lamb, or do you have bigger things to worry about?

As for Umshini Wami, who may get his day in court and pay for his own legal costs finally (how noble), with NDZ and the Guptas and his security guards at his side.

Who knows, maybe Zuma can once again be the highest-paid security guard.

As for Zuma and his politics, let’s go back in time.

To give a bit of his own medicine back, it is surprising how suddenly the word “unity” popped up during the campaigning for NDZ.

When Mbeki was ousted, was any unity mentioned? Look at Zuma’s behaviour at the time.

Mbeki was not even allowed to address the UN the next day to give a swansong to the international community. Zuma wanted him out immediately. Gauteng, in terms of elections, was of no concern to Zuma.

So what if the ANC lost Cape Town, Joburg, Ekurhuleni, and Tshwane?

I see Tambo’s pics were used extensively during the latest conference.

I doubt he would have been pleased with Zuma’s leadership losing Ekurhuleni.

As for KZN, both the eThekwini and provincial elections were marred by controversies.

I’ve lost count of the number of elections that were held until former mayor James Nxumalo was ousted.

No talk of him finishing his term, or unity.

As for the provincial elections, when Senzo Mchunu and his team lost he was replaced as premier in no time and the KZN cabinet reshuffled.

No talk of finishing their terms or unity. Pity the Zuma journey got lost along the way.

Now that the Zuma camp has lost the presidency, it is time he is told to pack his bags and go. Muhammad Omar Durban North
