A riot of colours all the rage for nails

-

GET a head start and stock up on these exciting nail colour trends for autumn.

More people are moving away from artificial nails (extended tips) and doing gelish, which does not damage natural nails, unlike acrylic.

Although silhouettes and ombre have been admired by many, these are some of the gorgeous nail colours that work for almost every season that you shouldn’t miss.

SHADES OF BLUE

One thing about nails is that the brighter the better. Blue usually looks nice on short nails.

Add drama by putting on glitters or decorate with flowers. Anything to enhance the look.

PINK PERFECT

For a more girly look, pink will always be the colour. However, to break away from all glossy, make one or two nails matte, while others are filled with art. It could be a flower or art stamp, depending on your mood.

PITCH PLUM

Plum is always the colour for autumn. Something about it makes it stand out, from lipsticks to warm coats and nail colour, it has that effect. However, when it comes to nails, matte is better than glossy. Add art for more detail.

BLACK BEAUTY

The colour of all seasons is again leading the trends. The allblack nails are nice, but black nails infused with some nude are even better. Add some designs to be more artistic.

NICE NUDE

To match with anything and everything, go for nude nails. Without adding any art, nude has the power to leave a statement with its minimal simplicity. – Thobile Mazibuko
