‘BLAZING’ CASUALTIES

THIRTEEN people, including pupils, were in hospital after smoking a substance – described in the streets as “herbal blend”, “puff”, “blazing” and “crazy coconut”, the Pretoria SAPS said.

Spokesperson for the Tshwane West policing cluster, Captain Augustinah Selepe, said the 13 had been in hospital since Sunday. Two more were treated and discharged. “It is alleged they buy this product over the counter, then mix it with cigarette tobacco, or roll their own smokes.” | African News Agency (ANA)
