NEPI ROCKCASTLE has re­quested the reg­u­la­tors to in­ves­ti­gate any mar­ket ma­nip­u­la­tion of­fences by Viceroy Re­search, fol­low­ing the pub­li­ca­tion of its damn­ing re­port about the listed prop­erty com­pany. Shares in NEPI Rockcastle slumped by 14.07 per­cent to close at R99.14 last Thurs­day, the day the re­port was re­leased. Shares in NEPI Rockcastle rose 0.93 per­cent on the JSE yes­ter­day to close at R108. It said that it had made a writ­ten sub­mis­sion to the JSE, Fi­nan­cial Sec­tor Con­duct Au­thor­ity in South Africa and the Dutch Au­thor­ity for the Fi­nan­cial Mar­kets and Euronext Am­s­ter­dam re­quest­ing an in­ves­ti­ga­tion into trad­ing in NEPI Rockcastle shares in the days lead­ing up to and im­me­di­ately fol­low­ing the pub­li­ca­tion of the Viceroy re­port. | Roy
