HIGHER HEADLINE EARNINGS

-

ANGLO American Platinum said yesterday its headline earnings per share for the year ending December were likely to be 20 percent higher than 2017, due to an increase in the rand basket price and improved operational delivery across the company. The mining company said it expected headline earnings per share to rise by 297 cents from last year’s 1 482 cents. Amplats however said there was currently insufficient certainty to enable the company to provide specific guidance on its expected results and it expected to publish a further trading statement closer to the release of its annual financial results, due on February 18. | African News Agency (ANA)
