THE band Tune Recreation Committee will launch of their second album, Afrika
Grooves with the TRC, this Sunday at Jazz in the Native Yards. The band, led by trumpeter Mandla Mlangeni, one of the 2019 Standard Bank Young Artist Award winners, also features Clement Benny on drums, Nicholas Williams on bass and Reza Khota on guitar. Multi-instrumentalist Mark Fransman will join the group as a special guest in selected performances on accordion, bass clarinet and tenor saxophone.
