HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK

If you're a jazz fan and looking for a music fix in the week, there are various music evenings which will satisfy. One is the weekly live jazz on Tuesday evenings at Hank's Olde Irish Bar. The cosy venue packs a great crowd, especially because the line-ups are always solid. Free entry also helps. Catch the Bellairs /Lilley Quartet there on Tuesday. Another new night event is live jazz at Addis in the Cape Ethiopian Restaurant every Thursday night. This week they have the incredible bassist Peter Ndlala and his Unit 5 band. Both gigs are free but bookings are essential.
