Black Business Chamber breakfast

- | Staff Writer

IN AN effort to offer practical advice and information to entrepreneurs, the Black Business Chamber will host DrKgosientso Ramokgopa, head of investment and infrastructure in the Presidency, at a business breakfast in the City on Thursday.

“Our main aim is to ensure that we can have our members, entrepreneurs and attendees experience a morning of motivation as well as practical advice and information to further build their businesses.

“We have organised this event so that Dr Ramokgopa can address micro, small and medium businesses on how they can effectively participate in opportunities available when the government rolls out infrastructure development programmes,” chamber secretarygeneral Mntuwekhaya “Khaya” Cishe said.

“We have seen during the World Cup in 2010 that there was no meaningful participation of the SMMEs in infrastructure rollout when stadiums were built. These are the issues that the Black Business Chamber, being a voice of micro and small businesses, seeks to address.”

Corporates and representatives of a diplomatic corps from other countries had been invited to broaden the network space, Cishe added.

The breakfast is at 9am at 1 Silo Square, Allan Gray, Cape Town.

RSVPs can still be done before the end of business today by paying for a seat at R150 a person and sending proof of payment to khay@ blackbusinesschamber.org
