‘Naughty’ president has us parked off

I HAD the following chat with my two-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter, Summer, about her thoughts on Covid-19:

Summer, do you know who Cyril is? Yes, he is the present (president).

And what did Cyril tell us? That we can’t go to the park.

Why did he say that? After a lot of thought: Because he is naughty.

And why do we wear masks? Because of the BIRUS (in a whisper).

And then, when I wanted to go for a cigarette, she told me not to because the BIRUS was outside.
