Time the City did something about homeless people

HAVING been through town this Christmas, it’s worrying to see the burgeoning homeless, especially by the lawns of the Castle, under little sheets of plastic with no real shelter.

It’s very sad to see and one wonders how they can cope without toilets, food, water etc, the basics of human existence.

One actually can’t believe in 2020 we still cannot house the homeless. I know at one stage during the pandemic they were moved to Strandfontein.
