Cape Times

More info please on progress of the Sithole decuplets

-

WHAT a wonderful coup for Independent Media to be the first newspaper to report the world record breaking news of the birth of decuplets to Gosiame Thamara Sithole on June 7.

And what wonderful timing for Dr Iqbal Survé to meet the father in person.

It is a wonderful gesture for Dr Survé to pledge R1 million on behalf of his family foundation to support the Sithole family.

I trust that a bank account has been opened for the South African public to make their contributions and it would be very useful if the Cape Times would publish those details as the family will need plenty of finance to feed and bring up 10 extra children in addition to the six that they already have.

What is surprising is that there has been no follow-up news in the press or on the radio or TV as to the progress and well-being of the mother and her 10 new babies since their births.

As this is history in the making, please keep the readers informed as to the progress and developments that the Sithole family are experiencing. It will make a change to read some pleasant news instead of the ongoing murders and rapes that are taking place in the Western Cape.
