THE family of a Retreat tour guide who went missing driving a group of people from Beaufort West to a church event in Kariega at the weekend are asking for help to find him.

Roysten Kruger was last seen climbing a fence, leaving his phone and belongings behind, according to the church members.

At the time of his disappearance, the 29-year-old guide was wearing black trousers, a white T-shirt and white shoes.

His sister, Silvia Williams, said the family were anxiously waiting for feedback from the police. They last saw him when he left for work on Friday morning to transport people to a church.

“We don't know much at the moment. We are waiting for feedback from the police from Uitenhage. As the family we are very worried and trying to be strong.

“We are all in a state, sick with worry as it has been six days now that he hasn't returned home,” she said.

Police have called on the assistance of the public to find him.

“SAPS Uitenhage detectives are urgently seeking the community's assistance in locating a 29-year-old man who went missing on Saturday, November 20. Roysten Kruger was last seen climbing a fence of a wedding venue in Amanzi, Kariega.

“Kruger was attending a function with a church group at the venue,” said the police.

They said it was when church members were getting ready to depart on Sunday that they realised he was missing.

Kruger's family and friends have sent wishes on social media for his safe return.

“I know Roysten. I will definitely pray for his safe return. I will also definitely pray for strength to the whole family,” one user said.
