ANC’s argument on Gardee murder suspect senseless

- KEVIN MEINEKE | Hout Bay

I REFER to the article “ANC members try to absolve Gardee murder suspect on WhatsApp”, in the Cape Times on May 9.

According to the ANC WhatsApp group: “The suspect could not have killed Hillary, because he was a highly educated political researcher based at the Mpumalanga Legislature and held the position of director.” What codswallop is that? How do those attributes make someone not a potential or an actual murderer?

The author of such a statement is either naive or just trying to put up a smokescreen to divert attention away from the ANC, or both.

The mind boggles at such senseless statements from the ANC.
