NEVERA NAMESAKE

The Rimac Nevera takes its name from a Mediterranean storm system. A Nevera, as the Croatian hypercar-maker describes it, is “a quick, sudden and mighty storm, extremely powerful and charged by lightning”.the Nevera hypercar, says Rimac, is a force of nature.

EMISSION-FREE FORCE OF NATURE

The Nevera’s four electric motors source power from a 120 kwh battery. Combined, the electric motors produce a total of 1 408 kw and

2 360 N.m of torque for a claimed top speed of 412 km/h. It is capable of travelling up to 550 km on a single charge.

The front and rear lightweight 20-inch alloys are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres, measuring 275/35 fore and 315/35 aft, and are each connected to a pair of single-speed transmissions. Stopping power is provided by 390 mm six-piston Brembo carbon-ceramic brake disc front and rear.

According to Rimac, the Nevera’s groundbreaking monocoque’s bonded carbonfibre roof and rear carbon-fibre subframe form the largest single piece of carbon-fibre found to date on a motor car and the monocoque weighs less than 200 kg.

SEATED IN THE EYE OF THE STORM

The Nevera’s butterfly doors open to reveal a minimalist cabin, designed with performance and grand touring in mind. The interior features three high-definition displays. Configured for both track driving and GT comfort, the layout is divided into two zones. The top segment is designed with a focus on performance driving. The lower part, meanwhile, houses the infotainment system.
