The DA must withdraw (from the high court case) and focus on getting its campaigning on track. Failure to do this will result in a lost vote. The DA must not underestimate the coloured voter. They have already identified Natasha Mazzone as the fly in the ointment.

The Patricia de Lille judgment exonerated her. This is the woman who has been open, saying let the allegations levelled against her be tested in the open. But, the DA wanted closed doors. Why? I think they wanted to cook the findings of the disciplinary procedure and go out publicly to assassinate her character. Mazzone’s response to the judgment shows the DA has little regard for the judiciary. That’s dangerous to our democracy.

The DA should withdraw. It has cast doubt over how I will vote next year. Their behaviour is shocking.
