With offices in three cities, DHK has worked on a range of projects in the fields of architecture, urban design and interior design. Its Cape Town portfolio includes Cape Town International Airport, the 15 On Orange Hotel and Mandela Rhodes Place. It has also worked in several African countries, as well as Italy, Switzerland, USA and Colombia. Established in 1998 by Andy Horn, the practice creates eco-friendly designs using only local, natural and non-toxic materials. It is at the forefront of South Africa’s green-building movement and have won several international awards. van Gass, GASS Architecture Studios creates spaces around clients’ specific needs and lifestyles. With a residential portfolio of contemporary designs, the studio believes in incorporating sustainability into each project and uses natural materials wherever possible.
