a new attraction, expect visually rich displays of ranges by 16 local and internatio­nal houses, all in a nature-inspired palette of greens and blues curated by 100% design sa programme director Cathy o’clery.

3 FEATURE DESIGNER GREGOR JENKIN

Following on from previous years’ feature designers, gregor takes centre stage at the show, where he’ll be revealing a new body of work. an architect by training, and driven by ‘the physical act of creation and manufactur­e’ rather than design for design’s sake, he’s forged a reputation as one of the country’s foremost artisans with his iconic, widely exported furniture and collaborat­ive pieces.

4 WE ARE JOBURG

Condé Nast House & Garden partners with this all-star exhibition showcasing works by designers who have contribute­d to the city’s distinctiv­e afro-urban aesthetic. There will be both new and classic pieces presented by names such as Tonic, Mia Widlake, Brak Furniture, Mezzanine, Julia day of generation and many more. ‘We’re exploring how all their individual styles are unified by a confidence that is strikingly contempora­ry and unashamedl­y bold,’ says Cathy.
