1. If you’re in Jo’burg, check out… the brass verdigris wall panel in the bar in Marble. It was a collaboration between two talented artists, Sarita Immelman and Damien Grivas. I love the depth and colours. 2. Happiness is... Greece. I still have fond memories of walks through our village, which is nestled in a valley of orange groves and olive trees.

3. My secret weapon? Byredo candles. They’re amazing and the packaging is clean, contemporary and edgy.

4. My most inspiring piece of art is... ‘The Winged Victory of Samothrace’.

Her ethereal, Hellenic origin is close to my heart. 5. An insider’s secret?

On a recent trip to Bali, I came across a store called Kim Soo in Seminyak. It stocks traditional and modern decor, mostly in black and white. Heaven! 6. I’m absolutely obsessed with... Metallics, especially the acrylic and brass ‘Jacques’ cocktail table by Jonathan Adler. 7. Who always gets it right? Designer Gert-johan Coetzee. He has an old-world sophistication that comes through in his designs. 8. My next reservation will be at… Chromata in Santorini, Greece. The view of the caldera from the hotel is beyond spectacular. 9. If I could own any artwork, it would be… a Picasso. 10. The Instagram account to follow is... @theconranshop 11. My signature piece?
