The Brand My native language, Yoruba, greatly represents my creativity and follows my design ethos quite literally – our product design brand is called The DÅ Brand by Afrominima, ‘da’ being a Yoruba word that means ‘to make and to create’.

The Inspiration I created my own unique style and design language called afrominima, which means a‘ frocentric minimalism’. It’s a movement that captures our beautiful continent’s rich culture.

The Future one of the many challenges we face is intellectual protection of our work. We also need to promote our identity in more innovative ways. Words that have guided me: ‘Find your wonder, believe in your wonder and protect your wonder’. afrominima
