While it’s tech­ni­cally the wet sea­son (Oc­to­ber to April), the show­ers usu­ally hap­pen overnight or in the late af­ter­noon – with bright blue sky, 30°C heat and sun­shine most days. Also, it’s much cheaper to get there in Oc­to­ber. And many of the in­ter­na­tional tourists have gone back home, mean­ing there’s no need to com­pete for space or to search for soli­tude at the pools, bars and beaches.
