IF IT’S glitz, glamour and the spotlight that you’re after, then Lady Luck may be visiting you soon as the Top Billing presenter search is back and ready to visit a city near you.

For many, watching the high-profile show on their small screens every week seems like just “someone else’s life” or “someone else’s dream”. But now it’s time to make that dream your very own reality.

If you are ready to live out your Top Billing aspiration­s, then this could just be your lucky month.

The Top Billing team will return to see you strut your stuff and work your way to be the next hot presenter. All you need to do is show up and step up. Auditions this year will make the rounds in Port Elizabeth, Bloemfonte­in, Durban, Polokwane, Cape Town and Johannesbu­rg.

For those interested and daring enough to seize the bull by the horns, they can either enter online or at the venue on the day.

All contestant­s are asked to bring a copy of their applicatio­n form, a signed copy of the terms and conditions, a recent photograph of themselves and a copy of their ID document.

As part of the promotion drive for the contest, Top Billing fans will be treated to three Saturday two-hour small screen specials on June 16, 23 and 30. Following these special shows, highlighti­ng the audition attempts of those vying for the dream job, June and July, in the normal Tuesday time slot, have been earmarked to bring you all the drama surroundin­g the selection of your future presenter.

“The show will test 10 finalists with the challenges Top Billing presenters face on set to bring you the best in lifestyle television.

“Tuesday August 7 will see the show go live with the last three finalists competing for the coveted top spot,” Tswelopele, the production company that helms the show, said in a statement.

Get to an audition near you – as the following dates and towns have been set aside for you to stand out from the rest and shine:

Durban: Friday and Saturday May 18 and 19; Port Elizabeth: May 24 and 25; Polokwane: May 28; Cape Town: June 1 to 3; and Johannesbu­rg: June 8 to 11.
