Boks wary of Aussie firepower

- By CRAIG RAY

THE Springboks are wary of Australia’s backline firepower going in to today’s Rugby Championship encounter at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, but not overawed by it.

Wallaby coach Ewen McKenzie recalled the talented, but erratic Quade Cooper at flyhalf and moved Israel Folau to fullback in an effort to load his side with as many attacking weapons as possible.

The Boks have not won in Brisbane in eight attempts but are quietly confident of causing an upset.

“Australia will bring pace to the game but we have scored some fantastic tries this year,” Bok captain Jean de Villiers said.
