Dispatch spreading festive cheer with R50 000 Cash Mania

- By MBALI TANANA

THE Daily Dispatch is spreading festive cheer and will over the next five weeks give away cash prizes totalling R50 000.

The annual Cash Mania campaign, which has been running for more than five years, kicks off on Monday. A cash prize of R5 000 will be up for grabs the first four weeks of the competition. The final draw will see one lucky Daily Dispatch reader walking away with a massive R30 000 – an increase from the R25 000 of last year. The grand prize-winner will be announced in the December 24 edition of the newspaper.

Dispatch marketing coordinator Wanga Mjoli said the campaign was a gesture of appreciation from the newspaper to its loyal readers and an incentive to add cheer to festivities.

Entry forms will be available in the Daily Dispatch and Saturday Dispatch from Monday, November 16. Mjoli said promoters would be visible in various malls and retail stores where readers could drop off their entry forms, which would then be delivered to the Daily Dispatch offices.

Readers can also drop off entries at the Daily Dispatch offices, Ink Spot in Mthatha, The Rep in Queenstown, Spargs at Beacon Bay, as well as outlets where Daily Dispatch promoters will be seen.

Lukhanyo Madumane, who last year won R5 000, said the winnings made a huge difference in his life.

“It helped make my festive season very interesting. I was also able to renovate my house and will definitely be taking part again this year.”

Madumane urged the public to take a chance because anybody could win. — mbalit@dispatch.co.za
