The SA-born actor and musician has become a global sensation over the last few years‚ and proved he’s the real deal with a spot on the latest cover of the trend-setting US fashion magazine V.
The September issue of the prestigious mag shows a grown-up Troye star alongside rising model Taylor Hill in a series of intimate snaps‚ including one where the 21-year-old poses with his chest bare while a naked Taylor sits on his legs.
The cover has caused a frenzy online‚ with fans and critics commenting on Troye’s versatility.
Speaking about his ascent to fame‚ in an interview with the magazine‚ Troye said sometimes he can’t help but giggle at how crazy his life is.
“I woke up last week and was like‚ ‘Oh‚ I just need to quickly fly across the country to do a photo shoot with Mario Testino and then back to play in a show’.
“I don’t know how else to process it but to laugh. Sometimes it feels like I’m in Zoolander. I was backstage at the Billboard Awards‚ and Rihanna just casually walked by. I was like‚ ‘What the f*ck?’ Hilarious.”
