Student ignorant and naive
OUT of the mouth of one of the student leaders came these gravity-defying words “science must fall”.
Right, let’s implode all the universities, schools, hospitals, housing communities, roads, railroads and every other object that science helped build.
That includes technology, so say goodbye to your vehicles, TVs, computers, laptops, cellphones, tablets and music centres. “Progress must fall” can become the next slogan. The ignorance and naivete in finding fault with colonials for the teaching of science is breathtaking.
Fortunately, many students actually want to learn and progress in this world and so I suggest they be allowed to get on with it. — Judy van Aardt, Vincent
