New executives take reins
VICTORIA Mxenge (VMLFA), Mdantsane (Mdalfa) and Duncan Village Local Football Associations (LFA) now have new leaders at the helm for the next five years.
In Mdantsane the position of secretary and vice chair were the only positions contested, and the election process was observed by Safa-BCM president Prince Sibam.
The Mdalfa chairperson is Mnyamezeli Bomeni and Kholeka Thwaku was elected to be deputy chair, together with Sphatho Handi and Vuyani Gantana, as Safa’s affirmative requirement.
Their treasurer is Zuko Quluba and secretary Zolile Mpobole. Additional members are Thembani Mbityi, Mzikayise Tshona, Siyabulela Toko, Mlungisi Fata, Bulelwa Hlalukwana and Vusumzi Ludwango.
“Our administration will remain solid and stable because this is a second year in a row we are getting a clean audit.
“And that will continue into the future so that our children will reach levels of playing we never had a chance to reach,” said Mdantsane LFA secretary Zolile Mpobole.
In the Victoria Mxenge LFA elections were uncontested.
The whole process was observed by SafaBCM’s Zolani Ngesmani.
Nokuzola Williams is the new chairperson, and her deputy chairpersons are Simphiwe Phekula, Bhutise Tokwe and Michell Quilie. The secretary is Thembinkosi Simanga, and his deputy secretary is Simthembile Mdunyelwa. Their treasurer is Thamsanqa James.
Additional members are Mfundo Dosi, Mbulelo Nombakuse and Lizwe Nkethu.
Victoria Mxenge LFA is due to hold a meeting on July 28 where they will discuss a way forward and also table the name of a Bhisho representative who will be an additional member.
Duncan Village also held its elective congress and the new LFA chairperson is Vukile Mlanjana and his deputy chairpersons are Ntsika Qali, Nzimeni Fanta and Bulelwa Khumalo. Their new secretary is Thembekile Bikitsha and their treasurer is Ndlovu Buqhele.
Additional members are Sabela Bhena, Chumani Mpulwana and Nodwe Tile.
