Relationships boost with show
TROUBLED relationships are about to get a helping hand as Relate airs on SABC 2 at 10pm tonight.
Previously airing on SABC 1, the show returns with a new presenter, Mareka Malatjie, who will be joined by an expert, Sibusiso Anthony Nhlapho.
The show will continue to restore troubled relationships by allowing participants to communicate their issues, empowering them with the necessary knowledge and tools to help rebuild and strengthen their relationships.
Whether it’s a plea for forgiveness or a plea for understanding and tolerance, Relate will allow participants to look at themselves and how they as individuals have the power to weaken, strengthen or destroy their relationships.
The show aims to assist people in different relationships to rebuild their relationships. For many, Relate could be the last resource to save their troubled relationship.
Participants will get an opportunity to engage with a qualified professional expert who will work with them and help them to relate better. If you are currently facing a relationship challenge or dilemma and would like an expert to assist you in mending your relationship, then remember that admitting that you need help is the first step.
“We all belong to a family of millions, proud and diverse. This show sits well on SABC 2 as family forms part or one of the channel’s key pillars.
“The show also exposes us to the hardships that people go through daily to try and mend broken relationships etc in order to build solutions,” said SABC commissioning editor Nonhlanhla Mabelane.
Presenter Malatjie is a community counsellor and mother figure who is actively involved in her community. She is a teacher by profession and a counsellor in her community.
Psychologist Nhlapho is a qualified and experienced psychologist who is also passionate about people and healing. He is a family man, married with kids. His wife is also a qualified psychologist.
