EAST London’s favourite night running event will end off with a bang for 2017 as the Out the Green Box Nite Series holds its final run at the East London Golf Club this evening.

An exciting event is on the cards with runners encouraged to dress up as their favourite super hero and see finally who is the fastest hero in town.

The East London Golf Club has hosted the family fun running series finale for the past three years, giving the supportive community a prestigious course to enjoy while running at night.

Won Adventure founder and adventure photographer, Bruce Viaene dreamt up the trail running series with Out the Green Box CEO and adventurer, Craig Powell.

The adventure duo loved running under a starry studded sky during the many adventure based events they were involved in and believed the Out the Green Box Nite Series would be a great way of exposing the East London community to such a phenomenon.

This year’s Out the Green Box Nite Series finale will kick off at 6.45pm to ensure runners enjoy the glowing excitement after sunset.

Each event of Series has featured limited edition apparel, and this year a new fleece hoody is up for grabs to keep the athletes warm.

Entrants wishing to still enter this esteemed race can do so by popping into the Out the Green Box store between 1pm and 5pm today, or at the East London Golf Club between 4:30pm and 6pm.

There is a limited stock in hoodys so athletes are encourages to enter as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Late apparel entries, which include a goody bag and limited edition hoody cost R200, while late nonapparel entries, which include a goody bag cost R80.

Runners are encourage not to miss out on this opportunity to win fantastic prizes for the best dressed super hero along with many awesome lucky draw items up for grabs.

The Won Adventure crew looks forward to welcoming you where you will go bump in the night. — DDC
