Austria probes ‘unfair’ Amazon

Austria’s competition authorities said on Thursday they were launching a probe into whether US online retail giant Amazon was abusing its dominant position against Austrian retailers active on the Amazon market place.

The Austrian Federal Competition Authority (BWB) said it was investigating complaints that Amazon was using “unfair trade practices” and that it “discriminates against other retailers.
