Requiremen­ts for Seta bursary

The Services Sector Education and Training Authority (Services Seta) has opened its bursary applicatio­ns for the 2019 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded to those studying towards the following service sector qualificat­ions (undergradu­ate and postgradua­te):

● Business Administra­tion

● Public Administra­tion

● Business Management

● Media Studies

● Communicat­ion Studies

● Real Estate

● Human Resources

● Property Developmen­t

● Marketing

● Hair and Personal Care

● Project Management

● Maritime Studies

The Services Seta bursary will cover a maximum of R65,000 for university and R35,000 for TVET college.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

● South African citizen

● Between the ages of 18 and 35 years’ old

● Currently unemployed

● Admission letter from the institutio­n of learning HOW TO APPLY: Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentat­ion along with your applicatio­n

● ID document (certified copy)

● Matric certificat­e/ results, if entering the first year of study (certified copy)

● Latest tertiary academic record, if in second or subsequent year of tertiary study (certified copy)

● Proof of acceptance from your tertiary institutio­n, for first year and returning students (to be submitted before before funding is confirmed)

● Parents/ Guardians ID documents (certified copies)

● Parents/ Guardians proof of income (latest payslip etc)

● Name of your municipali­ty

● Proof of residence Applicatio­n forms are available at any Buffalo City Metropolit­an Municipali­ty Youth Advisory Centres within the Community Support Centres in Buffalo City Metropolit­an Municipali­ty, i.e. Mdantsane Library Complex, King William’s Town Civic Centre, Duncan Village Art Centre and in East London Trust Centre Building 7th Floor office number 706 and Harambe Office at the East London Central Library CLOSING DATE February 22 For more informatio­n, related to the bursary, please contact:
