Steynsburg gives ANC an ultimatum

Residents of Steynsburg have given ANC provincial chair Oscar Mabuyane 14 days to respond to their grievances or they will take to the streets again.

Protesters closed entry and exit roads to Steynsburg on Monday and Tuesday.

Community leader Nceba Toto said on Wednesday everything was back to normal pending Mabuyane’s response.

ANC provincial spokesperson Judy Mpetsheni declined to give more information about the processes Mabuyane would follow in addressing the petition.
